Most funding announcements focus on the amount raised. This one says something about where the space industry is heading.

Contents
  • Backing a Company Behind the Hardware
  • Investors See Long-Term Potential
  • A Growing Opportunity in the Space Economy
  • Preparing for the Next Stage

Munich-based deltaVision has secured €10.2 million in its first external funding round, giving the company fresh capital to expand its business and further develop the fluidic systems that help spacecraft operate safely in space. The round was co-led by KT Ventures and Valemount Capital, with participation from Futury Capital and other investors.

The investment comes at a time when governments and private companies are launching more satellites than ever before. While rockets often receive the attention, every mission also depends on hundreds of specialized components that keep spacecraft operating once they leave Earth. That is the area where deltaVision has built its business.

Backing a Company Behind the Hardware

Unlike companies that build complete launch vehicles or satellites, deltaVision focuses on fluidic systems and components used in spacecraft and launch vehicles. These systems manage the movement of fluids such as propellants, making them an essential part of space missions.

The company also develops technologies for future in-orbit refueling, an area that many in the space sector see as important for extending spacecraft lifetimes and supporting longer missions.

The latest funding will allow deltaVision to expand its operations and continue developing these technologies as customer demand increases.

Investors See Long-Term Potential

The funding round was co-led by KT Ventures and Valemount Capital, while Futury Capital also joined as an investor.

For a young spacetech company, securing institutional backing in its first external round is an important milestone. Beyond providing capital, the investment gives deltaVision additional support as it moves from early growth to a larger commercial stage.

The company said the funding will help strengthen its manufacturing capabilities while accelerating product development.

A Growing Opportunity in the Space Economy

The commercial space market has changed significantly over the past decade. More satellites are being launched for communications, Earth observation, navigation, and scientific research. As launch activity increases, suppliers of specialized spacecraft hardware are becoming an increasingly important part of the industry’s supply chain.

Rather than building complete spacecraft, deltaVision serves this ecosystem by developing components that enable those spacecraft to function reliably.

This specialized approach places the company in a segment of the market where engineering precision and product quality are critical.

Preparing for the Next Stage

The €10.2 million investment gives deltaVision the resources to scale its business while continuing work on technologies designed for future space missions.

As commercial space activity expands across Europe and beyond, companies that supply essential spacecraft systems are expected to play a larger role in the industry’s growth. With fresh funding and support from experienced investors, deltaVision is now positioned to build on that opportunity and continue developing technologies that support the next generation of space exploration.
