The legal profession is changing as technology becomes a bigger part of everyday practice. Lawyers are looking for tools that simplify their work, help them connect with clients, and improve the way they manage their businesses. In Brazil, legal technology company Jusfy has taken a significant step in that direction by securing US$15 million (approximately R$80 million) in Series A funding. The investment will support the company’s plans to expand its platform, strengthen its financial services, and develop new artificial intelligence-powered solutions for legal professionals.

Quona Capital Leads the Investment Round

Jusfy announced that the Series A funding round was led by Quona Capital, with participation from Thomson Reuters Ventures and existing investors The LegalTech Fund, FJ Labs, SaaSholic, Spectra Investments, Fluent Ventures, Endeavor, and MAYA Capital.

The company described the investment as an important milestone in its journey to build a complete technology platform for Brazil’s legal sector. The new capital will help Jusfy accelerate product development and expand the services available through its platform.

Building a Complete Ecosystem for Lawyers

Founded in 2021, Jusfy has focused on developing more than traditional legal software. The company combines software-as-a-service (SaaS), artificial intelligence, and financial services into a single platform designed for legal professionals.

According to the company, its goal is to support lawyers throughout their daily workflow from attracting new clients to receiving payments for legal services. By bringing these functions together in one ecosystem, Jusfy aims to simplify legal practice and improve operational efficiency.

Today, the platform serves more than 60,000 lawyers and supports the management of around 14 million legal cases across Brazil, reflecting its growing presence in the country’s legal technology market.

Funding to Accelerate Innovation

Jusfy plans to use the new investment to expand Jusfy Pay, its financial services offering for lawyers. The company also intends to develop additional artificial intelligence features that improve productivity and make legal work more efficient.

Another planned initiative is the launch of a version of the platform designed specifically for law students, helping future legal professionals gain access to digital tools early in their careers.

These developments form part of Jusfy’s long-term strategy to build a connected ecosystem that supports legal professionals throughout different stages of their practice.

Strengthening Brazil’s Legal Technology Sector

In its official announcement, Jusfy said the legal profession is still in the early stages of a major technological transformation. The company believes the new funding will allow it to accelerate innovation, expand its platform, and build the infrastructure needed to support the next generation of lawyers in Brazil.

The investment also marks Thomson Reuters Ventures’ first investment in a Brazilian startup, highlighting growing interest in the country’s legal technology ecosystem.

Looking Ahead

With fresh capital and continued backing from both new and existing investors, Jusfy is entering its next phase of growth. The company plans to strengthen its technology platform while expanding the digital and financial services available to legal professionals.

As more lawyers adopt digital solutions to improve efficiency and client service, Jusfy aims to continue building an integrated platform that combines legal technology, artificial intelligence, and financial services. The successful Series A funding round provides the resources to advance that vision and support the evolving needs of Brazil’s legal community.
