Recognition on a global fintech ranking is becoming increasingly competitive as digital financial services continue to evolve worldwide. This year, Brazilian digital bank Agibank earned a place on CNBC and Statista’s “The World’s Top Fintech Companies 2026” list, marking another milestone for the company. The recognition places Agibank among 500 fintech companies selected for their performance, innovation, and impact across the financial services industry.
Agibank Earns Fourth Consecutive Recognition
Agibank announced that it has been included in The World’s Top Fintech Companies 2026, making this the fourth consecutive year the company has appeared in the global ranking compiled by CNBC and Statista.
The annual list highlights 500 fintech companies from around the world that have demonstrated strong performance and innovation across different areas of financial technology. In the 2026 edition, only 10 Brazilian fintech companies secured a place in the ranking, with Agibank among them.
The company has been recognised in the Neobanking category since 2023, when the global ranking first expanded to include that segment.
Recognition Comes During a Year of Growth
The latest recognition follows several important developments for Agibank in 2026. Earlier this year, the company began trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol AGBK.
Agibank continues to operate a hybrid banking model that combines digital financial services with a nationwide physical presence. According to the company, this approach allows customers to access banking services through both digital channels and in-person support.
Today, Agibank operates more than 1,115 physical service hubs across Brazil while offering a full range of digital banking products.
CEO Welcomes the Global Recognition
Glauber Correa, Chief Executive Officer of Agibank, said the recognition reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to serving customers through innovation.
He said that being included once again in CNBC’s global ranking confirms that the company is moving in the right direction. Correa added that the recognition reinforces Agibank’s commitment to delivering innovative and accessible financial services while continuing to improve the customer experience.
How the Ranking Was Compiled
The World’s Top Fintech Companies 2026 ranking was developed by Statista in partnership with CNBC.
According to the published methodology, researchers evaluated approximately 3,500 fintech companies worldwide using more than 25,000 data points. The assessment considered factors such as financial performance, market impact, innovation, growth, and company-specific performance indicators relevant to each fintech segment.
The final list features 500 companies from 55 countries, reflecting the growing global reach of financial technology. The United States accounts for approximately 42% of the companies included in the ranking, followed by the United Kingdom with 13% and India with 5%.
Growing Recognition for Brazilian Fintech
Agibank’s inclusion in the 2026 ranking highlights the continued presence of Brazilian fintech companies on the global stage. Being one of only ten companies from Brazil recognised this year underscores the country’s expanding role in digital financial services.
The recognition also reflects the increasing international visibility of fintech businesses that continue to develop new banking models and broaden access to financial services. For Agibank, appearing in the global ranking for the fourth consecutive year marks another achievement as the company continues to expand its operations and strengthen its position in Brazil’s digital banking market.
